I really enjoyed seeing the bond begin to form between Tara and Pam, even if Pam showed reluctance to let Tara into her heart.
I never thought Tara was that terrible a bartender, but she did look pretty skilled on that pole.
Speaking of scared parents, I had forgotten that Sookie's mother was scared of her daughter's power, but I still feel like Sookie is fooling herself if she thinks life as a normal human will make everything alright. I know he didn't go to medical school or fairy school or nothing, but I'm pretty sure Jason will set his sister straight.
I haven't seen a group of vampires that unruly since Lost Boys.
Maybe the recent events in Colorado have me on edge, but did they really need to show prune face feeding on that child?
Coming in at a close second to him was Alcide and his sparring session with Rikki.
Two of my favorite scenes this week were Arlene watching her wedding video and Jason and Sookie's heart-to-heart when he brought her breakfast in bed. It's always good to see the softer side of these characters to remind us they have feelings and real lives invested in these story lines and aren't just pawns to be ushered around by supernaturals.
Pretty sure Bud is the Dragon in charge of the hate group in Obama masks. Did you see how he looked behind Andy as if to see if there were any more cops with him and the jig was up? He will no doubt go down as will Hoyt in many people's opinion. At least Bud got to enjoy some time with the wife out of town.
Now if you don't mind the wife's out of town, the hot tubs just right and I got a male enhancement oil I'm anxious to try out.
I would be remiss if I did not mention Sam's helping Andy yet again and using his shifter nose to help sniff out the perps.
He was a second away from doing the butt drag.
Rev Steve was close to humping Russell's leg all episode long. My guess is he will do something crazy to "earn his stripes" in the eyes of his new BVF.

Like Andy knocking on Sheriff Bud's door, this episode caught me at a bad time, as I was battling flu-like symptoms Sunday night and most of Monday at work, but I stuck it out for you all and for the blood. That said, I am going to leave it to you all to share your thoughts about the above mentions, as well as Hoyt's new gang and what your take on Lilith and her weird nether regions.
Wait, so I am exhausted as crap right now but I just need to say one thing before I go to sleep. Eric giving Bill a piggyback ride almost made me fall off the couch laughing. I loved it. Such a small moment, but it was perfection. Okay wayyyy more to comment on tmw. Night all, Jell D feel better!!
ReplyDeleteAlright so...in my humblest of opinions i wasnt as blown away at this Ep as Jell was, but with that said i have to say that this Recap was the best of the season BY FAR....have been dying laughing for the last five minutes!....(ps, that Jonah Gif one of my favorite scenes in that movies!)

I literally still cant believe it! RIP Vampire stabler, you and your perfect product placement will be sorely missed. Is it me, or are the Vamp b's Nora, and Salamone wacked out of their gords? Another great episode and another amazing recap. Thanks Jell. Russell had me locked in and laughing this whole episode. My favorite part was his entrance to see Bill and Eric after he was captured and they show their fangs. Russell "relax, put your fangs away. I just wanted to make an entrance". classic. He immediately shows everyone who is in charge when he decapitates a memeber of the authority because he didnt want to hear what he was saying. I have to agree with Laffa here. Who can defeat him? He's not going to fall for the banana in the tailpipe again with Sookie letting him think he can be a daywalker. I think we are going to see the real Laffa come in with some kind of magic to help Eric and maybe Bill? I think Bill is kind of into the authority and what they are offering. We'll have to see what Eric does and how he "saves his sister" for papa Godric.
ReplyDeleteJason shooting Jessica in the head because she started to feed on him was a great moment in their relationship and vampire/human relations. Not only was he standing up and saying I dont care how fast/hot/deadly/hot in a little red riding hood get up.. you are, you will not feed on me in anger and against my will. A great moment for him. Will he find the vampire that killed his parents? Will he find more cover-up's from vampire killings? Will he find that college B from Jessica's "mansion" who he drove home a few episodes back? All questions that I am hoping will be answered in the weeks to come.
Really quick, because I know it's a sht plotline. Why is the smoke monster mocking them now? Was that not ridiculous? Please end that soon.

Do you think Eric saves Nora or is she a goner?I think Nora will end up stepping in front of a wooden bullet or something to save Eric and you will have that classic scene where she apologizes to Eric for losing her way just as she dies. Then again she just might go splat.

When Eric was talking to Godric he looked up at Nora who seemed to be staring at where Lilith had been standing but she was not there. Did the appearance of Godric open Eric’s eyes to what was going on and bring him back to reality? Like a phone call from you grandmother on your birthday after you just did three whip-its in a row?

The Authority kinda trips me out in way. Like I'm creeped out at how religious the whole thing has become. It was funny when they were tripping, I think Rev Birdcage's admiration for Russell is entertaining, but Nora and Salome scare me in the same way bible thumpers from the midwest do. It's very cultlike. If you don't join they're gonna take you out. I think Bill is going to be swayed a little, but Eric is going to hold firm and try and get out of there.
